About Me
Adam Perez is an independent director and photographer born and raised in California’s rural Central Valley.
He’s currently a Catchlight Global Fellow, working on a yearlong project with migrant farmworkers.
He’s a frequent contributor to The New York Times and his work has appeared in TIME magazine, The Los Angeles Times, and The New Yorker, Airbnb, AT&T, and Apple, among others.
His work about farmworker communities in California’s Central Valley has been supported by The Emerson Collective, The Center for Cultural Power, The California Arts Council, and the Academy of Arts and Sciences.
